I can build a jig to route it in the neck pocket, but honestly, I think that sanding the angle into the actual neck heel would be better and easier. I know with trems you don't have to have much neck angle, and that with tuneomatic style bridges you typically have to have aout 3.5-4.0 degrees. I am just wondering which way is easier, more accurate, and looks better?
Can anyone weigh in to say which way is best?

I searched the project guitar forum with those exact terms and didn't find a thing.
And dont you still have to angle the feel when you angle the pocket and top of the guitar to match?

Filippo, I believe you have to have a higher neck angle with a tune-o-matic style bridge because it is physically bigger than a standard trem with saddle setup, when you raise the string height off the face of the guitar, you have to increase the neck angle to properly compensate.
If I am correct that is.

+1. This is the way I'm doing my current guitar, and the way I intend to build going forward.
My first, I put the angle on the heel. It worked fine, but I don't like the look, and don't intend to do that again.
