hai, I need suggestions for my friends questions... She need know what Plans for the smallest classical (nylon) and acoustic (string) guitar but not Ukulele.
She need small guitar for easy move and turn around bliss

At the Guild of American Luthiers site, there are plans for "Early Guitars".
Probably the smallest nylon specific plans I've seen.

You could consider a Terz guitar, like the Martin 5-18. I obtained a plan from LMI. the scale is 21.3 inches approx and it is tuned a minor third up from standard tuning. Im making one at the moment, I wish I had heard about these little guitars years ago ? It is a steel strung but I dont see why you could not adapt the plans ( though no doubt someone will now tell me!)

I haven't built a nylon string guitar. I would think that scale length is more "critical" on nylon strings, since less power is available.
What would be the minimum scale length to keep, when adapting any small plan to nylon strings?
