Hey guys/gals,

I've had the Delta 21:1 tuners on my guitars in the past, but I always had guitars with the screw hole at a 45-degree angle, making them a drop in fit for the most part. I will be getting myself a new Martin Performing Artist Series guitar when I get my refund from Uncle Sam and would like to upgrade the tuners. Problem is, the screw hole is straight down and I can only find the 21:1 tuners with the hole at an angle.

Anyone here know if I can get the 21:1 ratio with the screw hole going straight down? If so, where can I order these from? LMI seems to only have the ones I don't need. idunno

Thanks!

Josh

Don't think you can get them how you want them. Have you seen them? Or are you just hoping?

Yup Josh, I can get them for you. I sell the entire Gotoh Line not just the few models most stock. They thing is that I stock very little because of it so if my distributor does not have it (2 days away) it can take about three weeks as we will order direct from Japan. So, let me know what you want, colour, buttons, and I will get a price and delivery time.

Thanks

Shane

Gotoh 510s with the holes straight down (ala Grovers, if thats what you mean) are ordered as SGV510Z as opposed to SGL510Z .. if by straight done you mean towards each other ala Schaller, they dont make one that fits those holes exactly ..

Shane, I sent you an e-mail. Thanks!

Tony, I'm not sure who makes the Martin tuners on the GPCPA4, but even if I have to fill and re-drill the screw holes, it isn't a deal-breaker for me. I think the tuner housing that Martin uses is comparable to the Gotoh mid-size, but I know they use large buttons, so I am going to go for the full size to get the higher ratio. Thanks for the info, though. Good to know if I ever have to replace Schallers.

Josh

Those might be Gotohs, or even Pings, dont think Grover makes tuners with that style of housing .. but the SGVs will replace them
