I'm looking forward to a good weekend in the shop! I hope to put some finishing touches on my Adi-Amazon Dread and get it off to finish.
Hope you all have a productive weekend no matter what you do!

I'm putting the top and back on build #1; a 000 rosewood/port orford cedar with Martin 28 appointments.

Thanks Lance..and back at ya.

Good luck with that #1 build Marc.

I'm currently on build #4....trying to understand better ,the radiusing of the top (25 deg.), and the sanding of the top surface of the bent sides. Sand flat....sand to the full radius...hybrid... deep water to me.

It's all good.

Happy Friday.

With a little luck, I'll get some strings on #7 this weekend, in the white, to test for sound. Fretted it last night, now I need to shape the neck, and glue the bridge.

Happy Friday to you too Lance!
Currently applying finish to my Bubinga/Lutz build....spray-wait-sand, spray-wait-sand.....coming along nicely.
So....just for fun have started a Les Paul build - and a new thread in the Doc-u-Build area.

So, yes, looking to be a productive weekend!

Same to you, Lance!

Daughter and I will be doing the inlays on her koa 0-28 12 fret. Son and I will work on the shape for his Ashbory bass. Customer is coming by to talk about his upcoming OM in Mad Rose.

Pat

Thank you Lance! I have the top and back all fit up, notched and ready to be glued on this weekend. I will be gluing the soundboard on but then I have to fit the neck. Build 2, but first time with a bolt on. If UPS is good to me I will be doing inlay work on Sunday

Thanks Lance! Just about done with the koa tenor uke...dress the frets, make the nut, glue the bridge and do the setup and home she goes to her new owner! Just got the back braced on a Sitka/EIR OM and ready to glue 'er on.

So many plans, so little time...... bliss

Nice bass.

I was wondering when you guys go ice fishing do you ever see a forking ice hole?

Always thought it would be funny to take a picture of one of those.
