I just wanted to welcome Gallery Hardwoods as a new advertiser. I have bought some really fantastic wood from Larry Davis before and we are thrilled to have him aboard.

Hi Larry,

Good to see you on this forum.

Last year I had broken a walnut back on an OM I was making and Larry in the middle of moving from California to Oregon, took the time to find and cut a back for me that matched the sides I had. I really appreciate that kind of service. Especially when it wasn't that big of a sale for him and especially being in the middle of a major relocation. I don't think I told you back then, but thanks Larry.

Oh! And at a very reasonable price.Jimmie D38686.7846527778

Just don't ask him to sell you some raw stock for binding material. He'd rather cut it into penblanks, if it isn't processed.

Just kidding. Welcome aboard Larry! Welcome to the greatest forum on the
net![/QUOTE]

Larry is far from being just another wood seller. He gives the benefit of his
knowledge, fills requests by seeking out what you ask him for, and if he
doesn't have what you want, he won't try to sell you what you don't want.

Lance, he actually did once sell me a piece of binding stock! Maybe he was
having an off day.

Good to see you here, Larry.Howard Klepper38686.9597685185

I will second what Howard said; I got in touch with Larry through MIMF about 4 years ago and have gotten great service from him since. Welcome Larry, looking forward to your insight over here as well!

Wow!!! What a warm welcome!! Thanks. The long list of quality suppliers supporting this forum speaks loud of the value of the OLF in the guitar community.

Don't be concerned about my "competition" guys, I'm a great wood buyer but a horrible seller :D

Hey Larry,

It's all about getting these builders (of which most of use sponsors are also!) what they want. You'll find very little competetion here.

Hey Brock, how come Doug's logo at the top is flashier than mine!!!

Really, Larry...welcome aboard, glad to see you here!

Shane

While this isn't something I should admit publically..... I must confess.

I made that ad. And I am no designer. The guy who made all the rest of the ads "Dwight" has Doug's stuff and should be working on his "real" ad. I made that one in a pinch because we wanted to announce Doug on 12/1.

Glad you like it.... I wasn't all that crazy about it at first.

I think I knew that. I was just having fun. But I would leave his ad like that, it sparkles!
