I need to cut the end graft on two builds. I know a lot use a hand saw but I would like to take the time to build a jig. Anyone have any pics they would like to share?

Thanks
Richard

I really like that end graft jig. I have been thinking about making one, just to take the free hand method out of the equation and have more consistent results. I was trying to work out the method of clamping it to the guitar in my head and struggling a bit, but seeing those pics solved it for me. I like that it's adjustable so that you dont have to make several jigs. I think I might raise mine a bit so I can ride a flute with a top bearing around the rim. Either that or a couple slats on the top that my router base rides along which corrospond to the cut. Nice jig.

Must be the photos....but that looks off-center to me
I like that jig too but I think I'd put the graft in before the binding. I think I'll stick with a hand saw and chisel unless I do something nonlinear

He is lining up with the center seam of the top and the back not the seam made by the sides. I would bet mucho $$ that it is perfectly centered. It looks like one of the sides is a bit longer than the other which doesn't matter one bit.
