To my annoyance, I've just discovered StewMac's management has made the decision that Superglue is too dangerous to ship by air, so that's my regular supplier of quality, decently priced superglue gone. I remember someone mentioning Satellite City as a good source, and something about calling someone directly. Figure I may as well see if they'll do it. Number, contact info?

How long does a (closed) bottle of CA glue stay good, if kept refrigerated (don't have a freezer, so that's out)? Prices here for 'brand' superglue are through the roof when you look at what you're getting (per unit volume, the dime store non-brand stuff is more expensive than getting it from StewMac) and I'll be having quite a bit of binding and inlay to be glueing fairly soon.

I buy the starbond stuff. I really like it. They advertise in GAL and ASIA's journals. It is not too pricey if you buy the jumbo size bottles.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect they ship internationally.

Mattia I have a local RC model shop here in town that sells very good CA at a fair price cosidering that they are a retail outlet. When I need it I need it so I don't order mine. I have a 10 oz bottle of thin CA that is over a year old and I have had no issues with it. but I usally buy the thicker in 4oz bottles. I find that the thicker stuff is more likly to setup on you.

You can purchase cyoacrylate glue, accelorator and debonder at www.towerhobbies.com in the U.S. and www.greathobbies.com in Canada at prices at very reasonable prices. I've been using these brands for many years and it is very good quality. I use mainly thin and medium.

Model shops here charge about twice the dollar price, in Euros, for pretty much eveything imported, glue-wise. I got a (low) quote for Z-Poxy finishing resin of 30 Euros (that's about 36 dollars at today's exchange rate), for one bottle.

Daryl: I'll have a look at the online-hobby stores you mentioned, thanks!

Brock: got any contact info for Starbond? All I have in terms of GAL stuff is a Big Red Book, and nothing from Asia yet. Keep meaning to subscribe.
