After about 3 years with no space to do any building, I am excited to annouce that I have a new shop space in Orleans Ma.
Over the last few days I have been dusting off all of my guitar building stuff and have been getting set up to build again. ( i cant belive how much stuff i had)

But most importantly, I really wanted to reconnect with my old friends here on the OLF.
How the heck are ya?

Hi Matt, long time! The clientele around here has probably changed quite a bit since you was here last, but as you can see, few of the oldtimers are still around… I’m glad to hear you have a new shop, and more importantly, building again. I remember I liked your guitars a lot.

Hi Matt
Welcome back. I was asking John Osthoff about you when we where at the Woodstock show.
Glad to read you'll be building again.

Matt,

Welcome back to OLF. I was an avid lurker here long before I bit the bullet and became a member so I'm very familiar with many of the old time OLFers both present and past yourself included. I enjoyed reading your posts of old and look forward to seeing your work now that your back.

Thanks for all the kind welcome backs.... it really is heart warming for me. I want to get caught up with all of my old friends and get to know more about some of you new guys. ( i think it`s funny to be considerd a vintage OLF`er)

I`ve been bustin a move getting the new shop space ready, and i took a couple lousy pics for your viewing pleasure.

Some of you guys may remember my good friend Stphen Couch who plays that funky custom Resonator guitar that I made for him. Today I recieved a commission to build a guitar for his " Betweeners" bandmate Eddie Green.
Eddie has new album of original music that he wrote and recorded with Steve, Owen and Chet of the Betweeners with a few other musicians as well. Steve Couch who`s slide and electric chicken picken is better than ever, plays his Reso, and some with the Mandolin that I made for him.
Check it out on Itunes,,,, the band name is, Soapbox, album,, lead filled can

all for now, thanks again

I know Don, and he once told me that when Paul Woolson comes back, so will he.

Welcome back, Matt! Paul posted in the Classified forum, back in January. Does that count?

Lurker...identify yourself. :D Why do I smell a Pawtucket plot thickening here? "There once was a dude from Pawtucket...yada, yada..."

I definitely think the New England mafia needs to get back to its former strength. Perhaps Matt can shake up the ranks.

Hey Lurker,

If you see Don ask him how his "crappy" brazilian is doing. And don't touch it no matter how much he says its OK.

Matt, congrats on the new space! That is very exciting.

Actually, rumor had it that Don went into the Brazilian waxing business after he tried to leave luthiery. I've heard rumors that he's planning a comeback! That would be cool!
