hello,

Just finishing up a build with osage orange B&S also a osage fretboard and bridge. From using the osage on ther things I noticed when leaving it unfinished it browns and dirties quick. Is there a finish I can apply to it? It is already fretted.

Thanks
Brent

This why ebony and dark rosewoods are used for fretboards…
Maybe you can stain it black with leather dye.

Waterlox may help some, but it will probably still stain some. You could finish it, like Maple fingerboards, but (like Maple fingerboards) the finish will likely wear off.
