I've had a couple of requests for more cam clamps. So I'll go ahead and put the offer out there.
If anyone wants in on cam clamps I'm going to make another batch. 6",8", 12" are what I have available.
I'll have to raise the price slightly to $12 each as I lost money last round. I'm not really doing it for the money, just a service to my pals here. Let me know and I'll start planning the lumber purchase.

Hi Paul,
Those cam clamps were excellent!!
The quality was superb.

Paul,

Could you post some pictures of the clamps? I'm not entirely certain what they look like.

Thanks

No hurry. In fact, I'm not going to be able to get on these right away. Hopefully around the first of the year. Just let me know. P

6, 8 and 12 are the span or the reach? I would assume the span, what is the
reach then, 4 1/2"? I'd be interested in more than a few.

Best cam clamps I have. I'm glad to see you are making more. Charge
enough to make something at it; they are worth it. I'll figure out my needs
and get an email to you in a week or so.

Hey guys thanks for the interest. I don't want anyone to be confused by termanology so I'm including a little drawing of the dimension I'm talking about.
Oops, the image placer isn't working. Go here to see the pic Cam Clamp
In the interest of maximizing the metal stock, I made all of the bars 12" long which would render about a 10" opening when maxed out. If you need something different than that, we can work something out. Keep in mind that by nature of this device, when you lengthen any part of the system, you reduce clamping pressure. This is true with the 12" clamps. They don't have nearly the force that the 6" clamps have.
Any questions, let me know. Paul

Now that I've seen the drawing Paul, please change mine from 6 of the 8" and 4 of the 6" to 10 of the 8".
So my order would be 10 clamps of the 8" type.

Dumb Newbie Question alert!!!

I'm assuming that these clamps would be good to do things like clamp down the bridge? If this is the case, which length and how many should I have to perform said function?

I'm building a classical, btw,

Thanks, Steve Brown
