As I mentioned before I got a Peterson VS2 and the Stew-mac fingerboard conditioner. I love them!

I got my CHristmas gifts earlier throughout the year when there was the illusion of having $ - 6" Jet jointer, Delta 18-36 sander, combo sander, Delta sharpening station, misc power hand tools, and about 6 sets of tonewood.

Got the tools used at 1/2 price and the wood just bought as I was what interested me at the time.

I got an Epson R1800 printer. I know that isn't exactly guitar/luthier related but at least now I can print archival quality photos of your guitars!

Merry Christmas All!

I got a Bosch 1617 router with through the base height adjustment so I can finally build my router table. Also a shop stereo with cd, cassette, radio, and record player. Sweet! The wife and Santa took real good care of me.

However, my in-laws donation for my wife and myself to Fisher House (enables military family members to be close to a loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury) was a real class act and actually means the most.    Don A38711.8957291667

I got a new house, with all new kitchen appliances and wood floors being installed tomorrow, of course I also got to paint and paint and paint and well you get the idea....

Oh and a newly painted shop ready for all my tools to be delivered on friday

As soon as I find some batteries for the camera I'll take some pictures...

Merry Christmas All...

Even though I got it a couple of months ago, my gift was a 24" Mini-Max bandsaw, and I am well pleased with it. It just might be my only present for years to come.

I got a Pre-war 1930s Record #4 plane with the original rare "Best Crucible Cast Tungsten Steel Blade". It's true what they say, they don't make them like that any more. My LN is destined for Ebay.

Yep that's what it is. Actually a lighted eye loop very very close and high magnification. Have to fine tune the planes today.

Fine tune ??? maybe they didnt finish yours up as well as the ones I got a few months back, but hey at 16 cdn, whos gonna complain. I thought the bullnose would be the more useful of the two, but after I rounded the nose, tail and put more angle on the sides, the small plane has become a favorite of my students and I for shaving braces - they cant believe its so cheap, yet works so well, and hasnt even been sharpened yet !!!! GOOD STUFF.
