Well here it is. It took many months and I frequently didn't have the proper tools due to finances. Overall I am not unhappy with it. It tunes up properly and plays pretty well. The electronics are going to be hooked up by a tech at my local music shop. It's a kit I got from StewMac. I have one pickup hooked up for testing purposes. The tuners are a bit weird as far as positioning/accessibility but they do what they are supposed to. During the warmer months I'll continue to shape the body with sanding and apply the lacquer. I have never worked with wood before. So like I said all things considered. I am not unhappy with my first build. If you have any comments let them fly. You won't hurt my feelings. I learned a lot during the process and thing the next one will be a little faster and a little better. My Tumblr photoblog link is at the bottom. Thank you for any input. Have a great New Year!

Hey, you saw it through start to finish and probably learned a great deal in the process, nothing wrong with that at all.

Hey, I like that headstock!
The body shape is a bit off,
but I kind of like that too!
Congratulations.

In reality, Thomas is quite an acomplished woodworker and this is a faithful reproduction of a drawing by his 8 year old nephew.

My wife said it looks like Play-Doh.

I wouldn't change a thing.
