I have a few myself...

Build at least six guitars. Have two boxes ready for necks, and two rimsets ready for tops and backs...

Learn to carve good necks - this process kind of scares me.

Quit smoking...

Drink fewer lattes

Become a better flat-picker

There's more I'm sure, but it's early and I only have one latte in me!

Have a great and productive new year everyone!

-Mark

My resolution it to try to limit my time on the internet and spend the time saved in the shop. Henceforth I will only be on line in the mornings and evenings.   That is going to be hard.

Let's see, I quit smoking years ago, gave up caffine too. I live in Wisconsin so giving up beer is not an option. My only other vise is this darn forum...well, there's always next year.
Guitar related: to create the PERFECT guitar. One that has no blemishes and sounds outstanding. I know, I know, I sould set my sights a bit higher. Baby steps.

Paul, I think you are doomed....

Not because your guitars are not excellent... they are...

but in my personal opinion the eye to detect infintesimal flaws developes at a much faster rate than the skill to prevent (or eliminate) them.

Reminds me of an internet joke of actual employee evalutions given by their bosses. One reads:
'This employee repeatedly sets low goals and constantly fails to achieve them'...
That's why I always tell myself: 'My next is going to sell for 25K!!!, By God!'.
