Hello all. Im starting up my challenge thread. I have been working on my build for a while now but have yet to post anything. Im doing an electric. I guess you could call it a thinline jaguar/jazzmaster. Its semihollow (made the same way as the thinline tele's. I will be making three single coil pickups for it. I will be doing some unique, very personalized electronics/wiring. The body itself is walnut with an ash top. The neck is hichory (excited to hear how hickory will sound! :D ) The fretboard will also be hickory. I have always loved the flat fretboards on classical guitars and banjos (both of which I play) so ive decided to go with a non-radiused fretboard for this build. I think I might end up prefering it to radiused boards. The scale length will be 25.5 inches like a strat. Ill post all of my current progress pic shortly! -Alex
