Someone on another forum was looking for a contact cleaner that was safe on plastics and finishes, like Deoxit, but he's in Israel and apparently it's not available there. I believe there are at least a couple of Israeli builders here. I thought I'd put it out there and see what you use so we can help this guy out.

I've often wondered what exactly deoxit is. Like so many other products it has to be some common widely available compound that is being repackaged and re-priced. Like Zippo lighter fluid, which is just naptha. But costs 10 times as much.
