I talked with Bryan a bit ago, and we talked a bit about the meeting. We hope everyone is going to make it! Those who want to ride with me, give me a call!
I wasn't able to spend as much time as I wanted to prepare for the meeting, so we don't have much of an agenda other than talking about setups. Bryan suggested that we all share our tips and thoughts about it, since there are many ways to go about it.
but don't miss it folks, I'll see you there, at one in the afternoon up at Bryan's place!

I will only be there in spirit. Too bad for me!

If we ever get together on a Sunday, I will be able to make it.

Enjoy!

Sorry to hear that, Ken. Maybe we can figure something out if the interest is there.
It'll be great to see you too J.J.!

sorry guys,

i am sure that it will be a great time and informative
but family is taking precedence once again.

was checking out a neat link on the 13th fret. scroll
to the very bottom of the page and click on yuh-yahs
[japanese guitarmakers] website. he builds very
nice guitars from a stool of some sort. very
impressive builder with tons of great ideas.

take care,

jvandam

We'll miss you, Lance. There's always next time.

BTW, To any of the Michigan guys who are attending, I need a favor. If you have any spare reverse kerfed linings, could you bring 4 pieces to the meeting? I ordered some from Mark Kett but they won't ship until the end of the month. TIA.

So is there any approximation of who or how many will be attending? I'll probably be there, but I'm still weighing my options of spending money on the road or making money in the shop.

I've hired a Louisiana Voodoo woman named Phyllis to summon Lloyd Loar back from the grave and lecture on the tonal advantages of the Verzi tone.

I'm bringing up at least three others, but some others that usually come are having to decline this time. Well, I hope that we have a good bunch! If we don't have too many, then I'll get the pick of the rosewood to myself. <G>

Hey, just in case someone is looking in this morning, I'm going to be there, and I'm bringing my brother. So there's an extra body to replace one absentee! I might have had another if I'd have given him more than 18 hours of notice. Maybe next meeting. See y'all at 1pm.
