I assume I'm the first to get my cauls as I'm only 70 miles from John's place. But I thought I'd throw my opinions out there. These things are fabulous. You guys are going to love them. I feel for the guys that didn't get in on this deal as indeed it was a smokin' deal.
Thanks John!

I received mine today...they're fantastically done! Very nice all around. I like the engraving on them for the size. Nice job John! Thanks for the great deal and the hard work.

You folks who didn't get a set really should look in to it...

I'm very pleased.

Only thing better would be a dovetailed wooden box with personalized engraved shiny brass presentation plaque.

I'm thinking about Nelson. :)

Someone had asked about the matching holder for these. I've put together a web page for all of this stuff at http://www.watkinguitars.com/estore_luthier.htm.

If you want in on the holder or inserts sets, go there.

There, that's my last shameless self-promotion! :)

John,

Is the matching holder what you call the fret caul that is sold for half of the inserts price on your web page? and can i put this fret caul in my drill press ? Just wanna make sure as i'm a bit confused. Please John, forgive my french brain trying to understand clearly!

Serge

No sweat, Serge. Yes, the "fret caul" is the holder and is priced at half of what the set of "caul inserts" is listed at.

Thanks,

John

Hi John,
Thanks again for the great deal on the radius cauls. They arrived today and the quality of your work is fabulously superlative! The big selection of radius sizes and longer length isn't available anywhere else (that I know of). Plus, your pricing has them all beat.

Have you ever made any acrylic fret scale templates on the CNC? This might be another product that there would be considerable interest in around here

John -
Thanks so much for the radius cauls. The workmanship is A+++! I was so
impressed I had to make a really nice little box for them. Indian Rosewood
and nitrocellulose lacquer! Thanks again!!!!

Sorry Mattia, but the international ones shipped a few days after the domestic ones due to miscommunications with the USPS. I think you will see them sometime around the middle of this week.

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone. Nice case, Sylvan!

John, there's no real rush, I'll see 'em when I see 'em. Honestly, I don't plan on fretting anything any time terribly soon (although, I have those two strat/tele necks...)
