You nailed it John, that is great. So that's what you did while I took a nap? Congrats. What is that curly maple? Beautiful, beautiful. I'm inspired.

I was wondering if the "Zootman" would recognize it.      I've had that quilted maple set waiting to be used for over a year, and of course life just got busy with a move and new job, so I'm FINALLY getting around to using it. The back and sides are obviously an exact match with the rosette. Do you have any tips for bending it? I only get one chance and I've never worked with anything other than EIRW.

Cheers!

John

You're right, you got it first. You guys were all over the quilted maple. I guess that wasn't much of a challenge. I was just wondering if the Zootman would recognize his own wood.

Y'know, I never really would've considered quilt maple for a rosette, but I am now! May have to get a slice sawn off one of my thicker bookbatched quilt guitar tops (I think I've found a resawer here, now...we'll see how that works out!)

Brad that last one is quite bodacious! You gotta revive this one, I like it, perfect for a little 0 or 00 steel string. Perfect for a love song for the ladies.

You been at this longer than you let on! How old are you?Dickey38733.4286226852

Your last rosette/guitar is older than I am.

Brad,

What a "sweet-hearts"!! How did you get that antique look? Loan it to Willie Nelson for a week?
