Is that from an airplane, a lawn mower or from a Yellow submarine Bruce ?

Just kiddin'you, nice buy for the price! Can't help you much with the experiment on the other thread, but can wish you good luck with this one here!

Hey, this thing is 110/220V, 1/3 horsepower, cast aluminum blade, just like the big boys. Freight will cost close to what I gave for the fan. Nice guy on the other end too. I love Ebay. PS If this doesn't run when I get it, it'll be back up on Ebay next week! You pays yo' money, you takes yo' chances.

Could also be useful to help an old air conditioner that's about ready to retire Man, there is definitely something about this button, it's addictive!

I know it looks wicked doesn't it. That baby's gonna find a home and have protective grilles when I'm done with it. I'm pumped. Can you just see this guy testing it in his back yard so he can say, "It works!" Yikes.

But, it just has a 1/3 hp motor and single phase at that, just what I needed. Now I can fulfill that pledge to be safe when working Nitro.

You are always a joy to listen to Bruce. And a thrifty shopper too! That encourages us all.

Make sure you post some pictures of how you put it together, we're watching ya!

Bruce, be careful, that looks like a Darwin Award in disguise!      It is a cool buy though. You gotta love Ebay. I just sold 3 Royal Doulton plates for my mother who was hoping to get $15 bucks a plate. As it turns out, one sold for $465!!!!

Good luck!

John

Got a link to that plate? I'd love to see any plate someone would give 465 bucks. Yeah, it's true. I saw a low grade set of Indian Rosewood go for 179 bucks. The only thing the guy did to entice the buyers was to add a colorful red velour background, and state that it was very old growth Indian Rosewood, not plantation rosewood?

Here's the link. The auction closed last night. I couldn't believe it sold for that much either, but apparently it is rather collectable.

Hey Bruce, stick that fan on the back of one of your Dred bodies and you've got yourself a swamp boat!

Colin, I can do that but was advised that running a generator on my drednaught, to power the fan, can cause explosions!
