This is my first attempt at a parlor. I am excited to see this thing take shape.

Thanks for looking, any comments are helpful.

Your work appears to be pristine! I love parlors, and have not seen one with coco.....should be beautiful. Thanks for showing the work. What finish will you use?

I am looking for a good finish. I use a pre catalyzed lacquer for my business (mostly cabinet case goods) but haven't found that to be right for guitar work. Do you have any suggestions? I am open to ideas.

Some people use nitro lacquer on the back, sides, and neck, but mask off the soundboard and do a french polish there instead :D I heard a classical guitar with that type of finish this week and it sounded great

This build looks awesome, can't wait to see more, I love cocobolo and parlors but I also have not seen a cocobolo parlor build :)
