Riverbank?   Actually, I know where Riverbank is. I will be at Don Pedro Lake this weekend and will be driving through Riverbank on my way to a casino in Manteca for a Texas Hold’em tournament.

How about a DVD on sound ports? Ports are a hot topic right now. You could cover placement, size, amount of, and binding.

Another interesting subject would be armrests and rib rests.

John,

How about a video where you are so dang serious all the time. Try to loosen up a little, will you?

What I think I could really use is a video on what to do with burn sides, broken braces, and torn up tops. I have a small fortune invested in these and would like to get some use out of them

Thanks for the video suggestion Ron, I'll buy it soon and check it out.

John,

I for one would like to see a DVD in building one of your beautiful ukuleles. A regular ukulele not the cigar box version. I think there would be quite an interest in it as the ukulele market, and most importantly the high end custom market, has high demand. There are several of the ukulele luthiers who are not even taking any more orders at this time. Some, like Dave Means, say that if you place your deposit now then your instrument start date will be November 2007. Looks like an open market to me.

I've thought about it, but seeing that the cigar box uke was, by FAR, the
lowest selling DVD I've ever made (sold about 10-12 of them to date) I
can't see spending that much time on it right now.... but we shall see...

Well, I'd love to see one on building that binding jig that you use in the binding video, maybe with a set of plans with measurements in a pdf file on the DVD.

That’s probably true since I think the interest is very low on the cigar box ukulele. You’re talking about making a unique instrument instead of a mainstream instrument. Do the ukulele DVD and you can post about it on all the ukulele sights. In fact, if you make a ukulele DVD, I will post information about it on all the ukulele forums for you.
