If you are contributing materials, labor or both to the charity guitar please check in and post your current status in the topic "Contributions, tasks and progress" under the charity guitar forum.

even if you have opted out please let me know what you have opted out of. I need to know so I can plan for what needs planed for.

Also if you will lets keep that topic to status reports only please. This will help me get a handle on what’s is what

Thanks Guys

I really need everyone to post their contributions, tasks and status as soon as possible.

Even if you are opting out please post what you had planned to provide or do with notice that you are opting out.

I personaly don't want to see this project die on the vine. Too much has already bee invested in materials and labor. So Please post your contributions, planed or provided and all labor planned or completed.

I will be posting a project report as soon as all info is in It will be updated as soon as there is info to update as the project moves along. This sould help everyone stay currrent with the project and aid in their own time managment. In order to keep things moving I will be checking in with those with work in-progress and those that are to provide materials as needed to keep this on track.

Lance would you please make this a stick topic for a few days

I really need everyone that was originaly to be involved in anyway and those still involed to please post their contrabutions and or tasks and status as soon as possible.

To date Lance, John How, John Mayes, Paul Woolson and Bruce Dicky have posted status reports. Again!!!I need to hear from everyone that is or was originaly involved. I have one or two willing contributers standing by to pick up materials that may no longer being provided but I need to know who is in for what and who is dropping out.

Be asured no hard feeling will be held by anyone if you need to back out but I need to know and know soon.MichaelP38753.5859143519

I think you need few more exclamation points in the subject lines to get
some attention Michael... Me thinks you'd be a slave driver for a boss!

Michael, I think if a beneficiary were determined, you'd find no problem getting folks to respond to an "identified" cause.

At this point folks are being asked to give with a blindfold on. I like to know who I'm giving to when I give. As you already know, I'm in.

From looking over the old Charity Guitar threads, a lot of folks with giving attitudes have spoken, and only the ones who needed to leave have. People have no problem following a leader. Where are we going boss?

Michael,

I just occurred to me that the list of who was doing what was listed in a thread that should be archived at this point. I'll go look for it.

My main point is I need to know who is still in who is still giving and who was out. I to have a list of the original contributies but I thought if everyone was to login their status it would give each a chance to think over if they wanted to continue or opt-out at their own discresion.

I am not trying to crack a whip but I do believe that in order to save this project direct many timly adjustments will need to be made.

Be assured that I could not, or would not hold any animosity toward anyone that wants out of this project. Heck I was considering dropping out because things got so twisted over the logo issue. But on second thought I desided that the goal contributing our tallent to some worthy cause with the product dirived from the welth of talent we have here was nobel and diserving the second push. I really don't have the extra time to ram rod this project but it seemed to to be a cause that called for above and beyond, a second effort or at least my best effort.

So I will revise my request. and simply ask those stil interested in going forward let me know in my topic on the Charity guitar fourm and we will see what adjustments need made

I will step down off my soap box now

You friend always

You are definitely going above and beyond the call, my friend!

Does anybody really think that a mutually acceptable recipient can't be found after the guitar is finished? Nobody's effort will be wasted here, guys, as long as the job gets done!

Yes.

There will be a poll in the Charity guitar forum the afternoon. I intend to use the poll as ballet on one of three options more later today.
