Guys, one of my oldest friends recently had one of his basses stolen. I built it for him way back in the early 80's. So I am replicating it again for him, but I need a Model One pickup and a Model P. Since my shop is no longer attached to a store, I cannot source pickups at wholesale. My friend would be just as happy with used units - especially if they are 80's vintage.

I am looking on eBay and Craigs, of course - but that could take awhile. So I thought I would ask here - just in case. If you have either of them, and want to make a buck or two, give me a holler.

...are you aware of any production instruments that used those particular pickups? if so, maybe one of those bass models could be added to your searches, purchased cheaply, and then parted out
