pizza thank's for this moment, bliss
Mahogany and Nara wood, ex window and bench for my OrbBass build. And local Macassar Ebony for fretboard
My plan is fretted Acoustic Electric Bass Guitar Scale length 34", 20 frets, piezo under saddle bridge pickup with preAmp, tailpiece
no upper bout just Orb diameter 18", Neck through body, hollowbody bass side and solidbody treble side,

I need your suggestion, what happen for the sound if I build like that:Neck through body, hollowbody bass side and solidbody treble side.
thank's for your suggestions holaaaa bliss

Wow, soon you'll be able to tell people you have your own moon base. laughing6-hehe

I suppose you could make it from green cheese but it wouldn't be very resonant.

Now that the bad jokes are out of the way, I have to say that's very cool. [:Y:] [clap] I bet you're the only one in this contest that can claim Macassar ebony as a local wood.

until now I am waiting for fretwire and wiring kit from Stewmac (about 75day until now, also nut from China).
This is my slow progress, and I later will change my headstock disain.

Herry, you should post your bass in the Electric Guitar & Bass forum, or provide a link to your build post. Not too many members check this forum page anymore.
