I received a repair from a family member. Asking if I could fix it up best I could. Haven't found anything that will show the maker but it was acquired around 69'. Was surprised to see a laminate neck. At the head it has started to separate.
Question #1 would one try to inject some glue and clamp ?

Has a zero fret thing going on, this wooden nut has slots that really just hold the strings I guess.

Top has some major cracks going on. I assume I should put diamonds on it and wick ca in. Am I correct in this assumption?

Here is the major issue I don't know what to do with and would love some input. The joint for the neck is pushed back in the body about 5mm. The owner originally asked about the beck angle and it is no doubt why. The connection is a single bolt that goes straight through to the neck side. It's kind of hard to describe so here are the pics.

Open to suggestions, thanks in advance.

CA will stain spruce; I would definitely avoid using it on a top crack. I'm no restoration expert so take with a grain of salt but I believe the general approach for cracks like this is to clean out dirt/old glue from the cracks, re-hydrate the top to hopefully swell the cracks shut, cleat, and join with HHG.

I am not too experienced with HHG, could one use AR? I was thinking of removing the top and using the CA from the back so that it would not stain before diamond cleat, would this still stain through? There were so many nicks dents chipped paint on the neck i just started to sand the whole thing down so i can refinish it.

Wherever CA wicks into spruce it will stain; definitely avoid getting it anywhere near naked spruce. Titebond can work but will not be as invisible as HHG or as repair friendly if the cracks open up later on... HHG definitely has advantages here and might be worth the effort. Just my $.02 of course.

I will take that into consideration when i get to the top. Thank you.

Have any advice on that neck joint area?

I have recently seen some bone and rabbit glues being sold as granulate next to the hide glues. Anyone have any experience with the others?

No one replied here but i figured a solution that seemed to work for me on the neck block. For anyone that is searching about this what i did was took a block of wood that fit through the soundhole which had another small block of wood where i wanted it to be pressing at attached. then used a clamp to pull it against a caul that is sitting on the outside of the guitar (where the neck is supposed to be). I had to be careful because i didnt want to put too much pressure on the sides.
