I'm in the process of moving some equipment from the garage to the new shop. Pulled the dust collection bag off of the belt/disk sander and proceeded to dump it in the trash can. Woah! I suddenly realized that it was mostly (99.8%) mahogany dust. Can't guarantee the purity, but it all looks the same color and consistency. I'd made a few neck supports and cauls the lazy way and just held the piece on the end of the belt sander to get the contour. So if anyone needs some dust for a fill, shoot me a PM and I'll send you some.
( I think that's a gallon size bag)

Ever seen the grain direction on Japanese Oak? Pretty similar.
