Just thought I'd quick toss out a few photos of the two recent guitars that left my shop. One is very unique, the other though ordinary looking was a gem. Amazing weight, sound and finish. Please visit my web site: http://www.greatnorthernguitars.com if you want to see some more.

The first was a unique build that the owner said "surprise me". Cedar top, Padauk b&s, maple details. Very liteweight and an awesome finger picking machine. similar to a L-O size.

The second was hard to send away. Made a note to make one very similar for myself. Sitka top, again Padauk b&s, East indian rosewood details. OM size.

I really like the heel lamination on that first one!
They both look great.

Jeremy,
I think they are both very nice and very interesting. With regard to the cedar topped guitar with the "f" sound holes: Have you considered building an arch top?

I have, this seemed like a clever use for some cedar that I came across. An arch top is on my bucket list of instruments to build, my current work load to time ratio has me focusing on flattops for now. Thanks for looking.

What surprised me the most is how well the Paduak looked under finish. Great builds!
