I love the redwood rosette. Very timeless but yet modern. How can that be?

The bracing? Well, some say less is best!!!

Redwood burl is usually sold as Vavrona. I have a fairly big chunk of veneer among my large veneer collection, just ready for rosettes and headstocks. The veneer is only 0.6mm thick so I laminate it to 0.6mm beech veneer to make my usual 1.2mm rosette thickness. I have been very tempted to laminate one of these pieces to some mahogany for an unusual 00 size guitar.
