How about Bruce Dickey's house? It's more centrally located.

Ron
I'd be in for that...depending on the date...we have a graduation and a family reunion in May/June...but I think Bruce is within a few hours of me and a couple other OLF'ers as well....
Hey, I never checked this thread, cause I knew Canada was a stretch for me. Now I see the Southern Branch of the OLF is meeting at my place. Well come on. Ron, Larry, maybe we could get Rector to hit I40 and come in from Okie Territory.
The Bruce Dickey house party is open to those of us a little farther away right? I'll make the flight for some of the red beans and rice I've been hearing about for the past 2 or 3 years

Hi Bob, I am jumping in late here -- Ft Erie is selfishly close for me -- I'd do my darndest to make it in July or August -- is there a place nearby to park a pop up camper trailer?

Come on Jason, bring a suitcase full of maple. You can have my son's room, he's getting married anyway! Do you think the Texicans might make the trip. Houston's only ten hours, Dallas is only seven.

So how bout a little, video get together for those of us who wouldn't be able to make it. $ and commitment (see my avitar) would not allow such a trip for me, although I sure would love to meet you all sometime.

Might be a bit of a stretch for 300, Ranch house built in 1850's Has 3 nice bedrooms, big dinning porch out back and a screened porch all the way around. We have had 30 folks there at one time. Lots of space for RV's and tents however. Great fishing all around.

.......this Lake Erie, Niagra Falls.......Northeast is way far for me.

Yeah, I would love to go to Canada, but it is not a "day-trip". It would be MUCH EASIER FOR THEM to come down south. It's downhill all the way.

Ron, i couldn't agree more for the downhill ride to get to your place, it's just the uphill coming back home that scares me to death, not knowing if it rained or snowed while gone! Ya never know, we've seen snow here even in summer days Kind of warm for shoveling in July tho! Just kiddin, i'd go south if i could afford it but Bob's place would be more convenient for me and sounds fun at the same timeSerge Poirier38780.3258912037

I'm in, Bob. I'd drive halfway across the country to visit the Zootman any chance I can get! Hey...I do that every Thanksgiving anyway. Just pick the weekend and I'll be there.

Ron, yes, Mayes too. I like the idea of Nacogdoches, it has a nice ring to it. Na Cog Do Cheese! Sounds like a six string blowout!

Actually it is pronounced Nack-A-doe-shus It and a town in Louisiana are both named after the Caddo Indian princess Natchitoches Nack-O-tish or Nat-ka-tish. A very simular story to the Pokahonis and John Smith story. She killed her self by jumping off a clift into a river over loss of her White Man lover.

Now tell me I don't know my trivia munusha MichaelP38783.4316666667
