well

Its not like a hardwood guitar, its almost like taking
classic and adding number 11 steel strings on here.
with all the bass and highs like a hardwood
but light as playing a mando. hope i said this right.

my spelling not very good.

Hey Ron we all love photo's here so no need to aplogize. Very cool guitar. I see the large soundhole. So how did you decide on a larger soundhole?

I try to make small changes in each build ,this happen
to be one of them. I still like a 4inch hole with spruce bracing. This guitar happen to be just a little
to loud for me. my next build that am doing right now
is a off set x bracing 2 necks 14fret at the body and 12fret at the body with hard wood back braces and spruce
top braces.

Hey Bob,

If I know anything about Ron it is this, there is every chance that when you are just starting to post images of him jointing the plates, he will be busy wiping the finger prints from the finish after the first play Boy is he FAST Once again, welcome aboard Ron, we look forward to your build.

Cheers

Kim

Hi,
Here is a snakewood faceplate I did back in 1988. I had never seen this wood before and the wood dealer offered to cut a hunk from a small round he had so I could play with it.
It was really expensive back then too!
