I strung up my tenor yesterday & the 4th string is not parallel to the fretboard. I must of drilled the bridge hole off a bit, like a classical guitar. The 1st string is good. The only thing I can think of is to notch the saddle a little just like on the nut. It may only matter visually & if it is played higher up the neck.
Ideas & thoughts please.
On another note, I am in Canada & am going to Hawaii next week. I wanted to take some wood to a uke builder friend as a gift. Do you think there is any problem? As near as I can tell none of the species I want to take are on the CITES schedule 1
ie. coco, A blackwood, local ironwood...
On another, another note my 29" uke case is 8" too long for carry on... whada ya think?

How far off is it? I think it would look weird at the bridge to move the string over. The string might alignment ok but it would really bend from the saddle to the tie-down position. If its not something you can live with then maybe change the bridge. If its a tie style bridge then maybe you could convert it to through hole and fix the positioning.
I've seen lots of people carry guitars and ukes on airplanes. Just try to board first to get overhead space
