Hesh, You`re not alone in your situation. I had to put mine on her knees today.
Yup, I was hiding under the bed, and she was looking under there yelling "You come out of there and fight like a man!"

I am pretty fortunate, my wife loves the wood, my problem is I am getting much to much, if that can be said. I have become a madman! Ordering 5 more top sets after a supplier sent me some photos today, then I started bidding on the Auction top...........do you ever get back in control or does the "I must have that, its just to cool" keep going??????? Once upon a time I could just buy one at a time, but now...........noooooooooooooooooooo I am having to expand to store wood

Part of getting old and having fun I guess

Mike

No Problem Hesh, she worked with me in the shop for a bit, untill she had trouble with her eyes puffing up, a reaction to the wood, which was a big shame, as she loved doing it.RussellR38786.1756944444
Right now I am considering an OMish guitar for the BRW but I am also thinking that I would not get to it until at least winter 2006. I have this need to make sure I can build a great OM before I tackle using the BRW for any thing.
Oh no, good Brazilian derserves to be put on a 000-12fret, the guitar it was born to be used on. No, not an OM but a OOO. Now I'm glad that's settled.

Colin
Ya Serge, remember no swearing

Colin you just may have made me change my mind. Really, I am not kidding. I have been wanting a OOO 12 for a while now and I really like the way they look.

With that said I would build a prototype OOO 12 out of less expensive wood first. I have some Walnut from a few auctions ago and sime sitka, would that make a good OOO 12?
Yes it would be fine, if it's for fingerstyle I'd put a Euro/Carpathian/Adi top on or one of Shane's Lutz and it would be great, as is known though I'm not a fan of Sitka. If you want inspiration for a 000-12 just look at John's latest one!

Colin
