Allied has a few EI RW sets big enough for a weissenborn, and the price is
right. Do you think that would make a nice instrument? Or would it
come out too choked, like the acoustics Gibson currently makes?

I also wonder about the RW. It would be a nice looking Weis. How about the nicer plywoods? They have the length, I'm just not sure what kind of sound you get?

Rance at Lazy River has made one (spruce top) and
I believe there are some sound bites there.

I don't think I'd try all RW though.
