Is there a reliably close plane for Martin double 0, 14 fret out there?

I do have one, Ed, as I just completed a 14-fret 00. Will post details later tonight (am currently on grill duty).

Here you go:
http://www.grellier.fr/en/downloads
The Martin style is the last one listed. Plan is free to download — just take it to your local printer/copy centre.

I used it mainly for the body outline and depths. I revised the neck (as usual), changed to long scale, made a slotted headstock and a pyramid-style bridge. Fits nicely into a standard classical case.

Good luck.

I just used the Grellier that I modified slightly to fit my aesthetic for curves. Can't say if it's accurate or not, but it has the necessary information.

FWIW, if you download the Grellier plan, I was able to get it printed at a blueprint shop for a lot less than taking to to Kinkos or somewhere like that.

I downloaded the link to the Grellier plan but it appears to be ordinary 8 1/2 x 11. Did I miss something? I discovered it when I was sending it to FedEx to get printed (I print blueprint size drafting files there with little issue). I also tried downloading the ,dfx file but it would only download a weird text file. I have drafting software that will read that type of file but getting it...there's the rub.
Thoughts?

If your pdf program defaults to “scale to fit”, then it will be shrunk to whatever is your default paper. Otherwise, print “without scaling” will expect A0 paper (841 x 1189 mm). Your printer will know what to do.
