Hi my friends.

I’m in a hospital flat out and was brought here after having a suspected heart attack Sunday, my birthday.... Go figure I hadn’t even seen an Ov*tion either.

I’m being transferred for a Bernie Sanders heart cath and maybe stints. I’ll be sure to ask that they use serviceable glue.

Back soon and will answer the many very kind birthdate wishes.

Not so sure about the serviceable glue, though. Don't insist on HHG, it's pretty warm AND maybe a bit damp around this heart of yours.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.
