Never did this before. So I made it up. Naturally the last photo was way out of focus so I had to do it over.

I find these handy if you are opening up tuner holes.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

You may have to be quick, I think they (Great Planes, the best I believe) may be out of production.

Thanks for the tip Colon. I just ordered one. I think it should work well for some bushing style tuners I have that need a 8mm ream.

Hi Joe, you're welcome, I use them for the stepped tuner holes, and a tapered reamer for press fit bushings.
Hope it works well for you.
Mind you, I've been called a lot of things in my time, but that has not really been among them until now.
I've been called an a**hole, which is pretty close, but not a Colon. laughing6-hehe
Probably auto spellchecker has something against me. pfft
