Serge, David sent it to me also. So, the best thing to do if you are interested is just flip Bob an e-mail or phone him. Once he knows your enthusiasm how could he refuse?!!!

Good Luck my friend!

Shane

Thanks Shane, i am really interested, the only things keeping me here are the family, the distance and the debts, if i was 20 years younger, i would already be gone!

Serge, I have a solution for your problem!

1. if you moved to Georgia to would no longer be far
2. you can bring your family with you
3. debt is something you can always bring with you. If you can't bring your debt with you I assure you there's plenty here in the States to go around!
4. 20 years younger? 20 years from now you'd be wishing you were your age now! so act quickly!!

Now here is the question:
when can we expect you to arrive? peterm38809.8261226852
Knowing as we do that a guitar manufacturing facility HAS to have precise temp/humidity control - this will be the only place in Georgia that is not stinking hot......
You must mean inside the building? Right?

Hesh,

Oh yeah, Even on the coast it can get plenty hot, sweltering and humid. But that's just five or six months out of the year. It is beautiful though. Full of old world charm, (if you can have such a thing in the US), moss growing from the trees, dark and mystic back waters, a few vampires and plenty of ghosts. And don't forget good old southern romance. There is plenty of that to go around. At least there was in the summer of '73

Yeah i hear you but have you thought the fun of building yours taken away because your building someone else's guitars!

1- I don't know what salary he would pay but working on a chain would probably kill me faster than the mop!

2- If i can't bring my debts with me, i'm sure my bank will find me faster than i could cut or shave my fur

3- My wife almost killed me when i got home with a new vehicle, imagine if i was to tell her that we were to move to another country, Mama Bear sure knows how to use an old frying pan!

4- In twenty years from now, hopefully, i'll be handling golf clubs properly and building 30 guitars a year!

Now here's my statement: If we ever meet, it'll be at a Guitar show! Less trouble!

Tha Bear!Serge Poirier38810.2932986111

Well, this is interesting. Is RB severing his ties with Fender/Guild?

Received the same email from Dave F a few days back. For some reason
Dave thinks Im good enough a luthier to travel to the USA and take up a
job with Bob.

I must say I've always liked Dave's sense of humour

The intro page on the RB site announces that he is no longer affiliated with Fender/Guild. Very interesting....
