I was working at a scenery shop when the shipper came up to my boss to get the forklift to take some chain off the delivery truck.
He said that the forklift might not be able to move it. The boss yelled at him that it was only two inch chain and stop using the forklift for the smallest jobs.
Turns out when you order chain it’s the width of the wire not the length of the link.
The chain on the back of the flatbed truck could’ve held a Battleship!

Paul

It's a scene from the upcoming, straight to video movie: Honey, I Shrunk the Woodworker.

That is a man size tool. Use it proudly while you make monster size chips.

Just think of the size of machine needed to run that beast!! And the price tag for a drill that large...

That thing must have cost a small fortune. Did you think you were ordering several dozen, or was that one of those things you will have to hide from the Mrs. for months...

You, "We don't need to buy coffee, it's bad for us."
Her, "But you said the same thing about meat, fuel for the car, and air conditioning."
You, "That reminds me, did you read the article about how health insurance is for losers?..."

Matthew would call it the drill bit of great value. Steinbeck would just call it The Drill Bit.

Hopefully it came with free shipping — both ways!

You also would not turn that bit with anything less than a milling machine (not a small mill drill, but a bridgeport series 1 or preferably, 2), or preferably a radial arm drill press (not that thing Grizzly sells, but those GIANT 4000 pound beasts that takes up about 8 x 8 feet of floor space).
