I am having trouble finding sanding rolls for My thickness sander. Canada is my first choice but I may have to go south

check eBay. A quick search turned up at least one source, and I am sure there are others.

After trying several sources, my preferred rolls are from the Swiss brand Sia. Available in Canada as 55yd rolls from:

I'm in Canada but ordered from Fintech in the US last time. Really high quality at a great price. Even when you factor in exchange rate and shipping. Ed Bond recommended them a while back.

I want to know if they can add 2’ to the rolls, lol. The last strip always leaves me with 85% of a roll leftover...

You can tape 2 short pieces together to make a full length using Gorilla tape.

Yes, you’re quite right, and it doesn’t matter how long is the original roll.
I used to shop around for drum sander abrasives, but I’ve had enough broken ends resulting in damage or close calls, I’m now more concerned with durability and longevity, than price. I’m sure there are others as good, but the Sia brand has impressed me and readily available in Canada.
But yes, those Sia rolls still leave me with 2/3 of a strip at the end.
