I just found 2 things I never thought I would find together - one of the most amazing guitar performances I have ever seen and worst "the guitar face from hell" on a really goofy looking dude.
Make your jaw drop while you laugh until your out of breath. With the piece he's performing its easy to forgive the face!

I went to his site-> seriously though Bach's Goldberg variations arranged for 2 guitars on 1 double neck guitar is pretty insane!

THAT was an amazing performance. It was more piano than guitar...I loved it. Great stuff.

Some sort of dampner so the open strings won't ring... could be anything that works.

Larry, you gave us such a performance to get to 900 posts that you eclipsed that kid totally!

Way to go bud!

Forget the face--his hands are heavenly.
I guess with that much going on, it's just too much to ask for a smile. I've seen that loss of facial control in other performances, but never with such good reason as this one. I'm with Don--that was amazing.

Thanks for the heads up,

Steve

If you guys go to his web site Adam.Fulara.com you will see a lot more of what he can do. Incredible talent. Paul, I think he put paper or cloth in the strings to mute them so that when he is not pressing the string, there are no sympathetic vibrations. Notice when he lifts his fingers, the sound stops.

Put a tux on that boy and he could play Carnegie Hall. Incredible. Why haven't we seen him on TV? I bet he's an undiscovered talent.

I think it's just pieces of cloth material wedged underneath his strings to mute the open strings. I used to do that when I wanted to sit in front of the tv while practicing right hand tremelo technique. This way all the strings were dampened and I could practive p-i-m-a-m-a-p forever without bothering anybody.

Guys like this are the reason I stopped playing for ten years. From 18 to 28... Then I got hooked again.

If you have a need for speed, this guy is tough to beat.

Ronn, yup. I feel your pain. That is why I always held the Ramones in such high esteem.....hope for the common man and under-achiever! When I find that genie in a bottle, one of my 3 wishes will be to walk into a Guitar Center packed with dozens of wanabes like me, and play like that for just a bit.   I also might wish for a head of hair like that too!!
