I need to buy some 10-11 mil white plastic to cover some damage on the soundboard of a flamenco guitar. Anyone have suggestions for a supplier? I used to buy it at Tap Plastics but can't remember what it was called (type of plastic, etc.).

White goleadors are common, is there a reason not to use white self-adhesive pickguard material? https://www.amazon.com/Musiclily-Acoustic-Pickguard-Material-Adhesive/dp/B01LEYIAX4/ref=pd_di_sccai_1/138-1077012-5435907?pd_rd_w=ZqzQo&pf_rd_p=c9443270-b914-4430-a90b-72e3e7e784e0&pf_rd_r=5E5JQ7DZ5ZHC1MN8BDWY&pd_rd_r=1a7f6fc6-dde2-4753-a63d-0a47cf5f8796&pd_rd_wg=MHC8s&pd_rd_i=B01LEYIAX4&psc=1

Appreciate your response but the stuff on Amazon is too thick. I prefer 10-11 mil and would like plain sheet or roll (no self adhesive). I know they are called golpeadores but thought it might be a puzzling word for most people. I'll probably be forced to buy the pre-shaped self adhesive type but I don't like them.

this was the only white tap plate (or golpeador) I was able to find on google. The shop is in Belgium so shipping might be a big factor; try asking on the delcamp forum, I'm sure you'll get more responses

Tap plates are most often mylar btw.

Robbie O'Brien classes include one on golpeadores. If he does not notice your post, you might try contacting him directly with your question.

Yes I see, the ones I suggested were 30 mil. I wonder about a roll of ABS film https://www.polymerfilms.com/product/abs/ Tough stuff including impact.

Hi John,
I measured the white plastic sheet I have - it is .020". If it would be of any use to you let me know.
