I figured that it would be an inlay artist that got it. I don't know and may have missed it on his site but I am guessing he contracts the inlay. Looking at his gallery I see too much Grit and others, and I believe, Paul I see some of your work there as well MichaelP38814.6999884259

I've done some work for him... some days I don't know why![/QUOTE]

Yeah, I just checked out his website. Very cool guitars.

Sheldon studied from Grit during one of Grit's few workshops he does only in Canada, but his pieces for the most part are his pieces. He, like Grit makes an amazing piano tone guitar as well. I assumed his basic guitar building was putting him ahead of his inlay time so he needed to start contracting some out.

Cool that you do some work for him Paul. I once contacted him to do a guitar for me to inlay, but his two year wait was a relative turn-off.

Sheldon actually did most of his own inlays. The "grit" looking inlays were done by Sheldon. He's a very gifted artist.
He needed help with them as his waiting list grew.
(I think most of us who build would love to have a two year waiting list!)

What, you guys don't have a two year waiting list?

I sure do. When a customer asks the delivery time, I just say "2 years, that's how many mistakes I have to fix inorder to get it right".

Hey Rod, what's a customer? I've heard of them, but I don't think I've ever had one.

Well you got a website. I had to build a guitar in order to get one of those.

Actually, so did I. I traded a cutaway dred for the design and support of my website for 6-8 months.
