Bruce,

I want to take this post (opportunity) to publicly apologize to you for something that happened quite some time ago (relatively that is)

Back in February, you posted a note about the ASIA forum being online.

I reacted to your post with one that slammed your enthusiasm and the idea of another forum being something that would rob the OLF of members.

Bruce, your enthusiasm is something that should be contagious, and not something that gets squashed, and for that I am sorry.

There is room for another guitar makers forum, just as you point out in one of your final posts on that thread, Why did I feel okay about sharing with fellow OLF ASIA members about that forum operation? Because they are not only a Strategic Alliance, they are openly part of what the OLF is all about, sharing information about building guitars. At least that's what it was all about when it started. . Sharing has got to be one of the greatest aspects of this craft, open sharing of ideas, tooling, design, heck even actual workings of internal bracing (just ask Jim Olson, he'll tell you everything)

So lastly, for squashing your enthusiasm and your good will for the ASIA, and the members here at the OLF I am asking. Will you forgive me?

Sincerely

Rod True
