I've used Silvertip on rosewood with maple binding. It looks great. I love the stuff.

I think one of the main reasons why some folks prefer Z-Poxy over Silvertip is because you have to be very precise with the measurements when you use Silvertip. But if you measure by weight (as I do), that is super easy.
