I noticed this on the web.

https://www.neatandhandy.com/collections/hobby/products/premium-airbrush-for-hobbies-crafts

It just seemed so neat, I thought I would post it just incase someone was looking for something like it.

Works for me, just ordered one.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

So can someone describe this product? I can't see the page at all, it has strong geo filtering.

It's a regular double action gravity-fed airbrush, but comes with a tiny battery powered air pump that screws onto where the air hose normally would.

It's an airbrush with 2 action button and an attached rechargeable small compressor.

I wish I had something like this when I was in my teens... I remember airbrush compressors costing nearly 200 dollars (at least from Michael's)

But now I have shop air I don't know.

What I'd like is some kind of preval type spray units where I can use difficult to clean paints on and throw them away after...

I still have my Miller compressor/single action airbrush combo that I bought back in the 70's at KMart for $20. Made a LOT of money with them.

That's where the 3M PPS system shines. You still have to clean the gun itself, but you can toss the cup with no cleanup needed. Pretty nice system.
