I was going through some files on an old hard drive and happened to come across this one taken at the OLF Get Together in Ann Arbor on 9-26-08. I recognize a few faces but I would be the first to admit I can't remember all. It was a great day and a fun get-together.

Hey Pete that was the Black Elks Lodge and a gathering that Dave and I did at Ann Arbor Guitars. I likely took that pic and that's why I'm not in it. We had a great time!!! The man with the bandora is Andy Birko and Dave is to his left.

Bob Connor is in purple and came from Australia for this event.

Good times and the guitars that we built were performed with in the bar all afternoon.

We had folks come to this gathering from four continents and I remember close to 40 people making it one of the largest OLF gathering ever.

We also had Bryan Galloup and Mario P. come and that was the highlight for me meeting them both in person. Mark Swanson was also there and probably two thirds of the OLF members there are no longer active with Lutherie.

We had Uncle Bob (I gave RC Tonewoods that name by the way) too and he's always a great time.

We also had a cash bar the Elks Lodge.

It was a good time way back in time.

Fred Tellier, Mike Franks, Lance Kragenbrink, Brock Poling, JJ Donahue and myself as well. Besides the ASIA Symposiums, this was the largest group of instrument builders in one place that have ever attended.

The one that John Watkins had the following spring was well attended as well.
