My customer posted some pics of a guitar I just finished because I was too lazy to snap final pictures.
He is going to do a video of how it sounds, I'll post it when he finishes it.

The name catgut is confusing. There are two explanations for the mix up.

Catgut is an abbreviation of the word cattle gut. Gut strings are made from sheep or goat intestines, in the past even from horse, mule or donkey intestines.

Otherwise it could be from the word kitgut or kitstring. Kit meant fiddle, not kitten.

Great choice on the toasted top with a spalted rosette. Also like the matte neck approach. Hope the final owner appreciates the quality.
