I've seen him 3 times, and I'm still blown away! Last time I saw him I had him sign some CD's, and the only words I had for him was "take the pickguard off, its totally useless". He looked at me like I was crazy. Maybe he got the joke the next day

If you're interested in percussive solo acoustic, Kaki King does some
pretty
innovative stuff. She's heavily influenced by Preston Reed. Not so much of
a "schooled" musician, just knows what sounds good. She has some
pretty good videos in her web site. Last I heard, she was touring with
Muriel Anderson.

No problem. When I saw her with the "La Guitara" tour she sat it on a chair and used it as a drum for a couple of tunes. Finally, someone who knows the proper way to play an Ovation!

BTW, that was a great concert--Patti Larkin, Muriel Anderson, Mimi Fox and Kaki King, together and solo--big musical fun!
