I don't usually gloat about windfalls like this but I'm so giddy, I had to share it with folks who would really appreciate it. I was at the local office supply place today, looking through their used furniture for an office desk and a drafting chair, when I found this:

That's a box of nine 45 yd. rolls of 3M Stikit sandpaper - 220 grit. I priced this out at the one of the luthier supply houses - it would have cost over $1300! It was marked at one dollar a roll!

They were shocked they even had sandpaper!

Think I'll buy some Zoot!

Mark I'll up it to $5 a roll. Five times the return on your investment and you don't even have to do any sanding. How could you possibly pass up an offer like that?
Great find. I've quite envious.
No to intentionally hijack this thread but: Does anyone know where to buy this. I thought I bought some once but it turned out to be gray and not the good tri-mite stuff.

Paul,I don't know if this will help you but I buy these rolls at a paint and body supply.Check around your area. The price is less than half what luthier supply places get!DaveAndy38820.3851851852
