Sadly, Gotoh stopped producing the GS7’s or whatever they were.

What do you favour for mini size cheap tuners? Just have to be good enough, and hopefully be of a footprint that people could retrofit better tuners without drilling should they so desire…

Ed, that's a tall order. I've bought what I think are decent mini tuners, but they're no-name Chinese stuff. I suspect a repeat order, should I ever have kept track, might not deliver the same stuff I bought in the past. Lately, like last week, I've seen Taylor offering the unmarked tuners they put on the GS Mini for thirty bucks, U.S., a set. Maybe they'd price them differently 'to the trade'? But they do work decently, certainly of higher quality than no-name stuff.

Chinese brand Der Jung are excellent value for money and decent quality, if you come across any that fit your requirements. Mike.
